Really great trip. Took my son and his buddy to catch Tuna on the Aztec. Rented 6 rods and we couldn't tie a knot but the captain and crew took care of us and we hooked 5 Bluefin and probably 60 reds. Couple of Sheephead. Thanks Justin, Nick, Jose, Fernando, Ryan, Jakob, (Chef Ryan,,cooking up some amazing meals) These guys took care of us and really helped us with everything. What I didn't expect was the 200 miles we covered all the way beyond Cortez bank hunting fish. This was a trip of a lifetime. I didn't know what to expect when booking this trip. Bad news for my family now that I'm hooked on fishing. lol
Crew was very helpful in setting up our gear for the bite at that time. Food was great, did the meal plan, Helen rocked the meals!!! Boat needs a better intercom system… couldn’t understand the captain most of the time when he’d shout instructions. Needed the info repeated . Would have liked to have more fish updates when on top of a school, … depth of fish, etc. Captain was a stern guy… not too friendly… guess he’s got lots of things going on to find fish. Fun trip , can’t wait to go again. Boat limited out on BFT!!!
Definitely going back to Seaforth again for a fishing trip! They were very informative, helpful and designed to have a great time for everyone on board. I work on ship all day and never really get to go on them so this was a real treat for me. I had such a good time I plan to go again real soon. They helped make the hooks for your pile and tell u how to bait it yourself. They have live bait available and u can purchase your squide before u go. I caught 5 fish and other caught way more! They made sure almost everyone caught something before heading back. It was a wonderful time. Go with co works, friends family or you kids to get them ready for life and get your sea legs in action. They also clean what u catch for a small fee. The fish was really good when I cooked it
I took my son on a half day morning trip for his 14th birthday with his friend and my Mom and we had a great time! We all caught fish so it was a successful outing! The check-in process, as well as getting our equipment, was super quick. We paid extra for squid & I highly recommend adding that as opposed to just using the live bait on the boat so you can double up for a better chance. The guys working on the boat were so helpful and very friendly and made the whole experience super easy. We definitely intend to go again and want to give the afternoon trip a try to catch different fish. The boat also had food and drinks which was super convenient. We paid extra to have the crew filet all of our fish to bring home to eat and that was a nice option to have. All around, Seaforth is great company to go fishing with, even if you are a beginner. Highly recommend booking the trip with Seaforth!!
It's always such a good time going out fishing. The boat is awesome , but the crew is more awesome! They are the real deal, Salty Crew! So professional, courteous, and helpful. They really make the experience great, while they go about their business! Tyler is the saltiest! 10 stars! Can't wait to come back.
